Selecting Grocery Items

Once you have located the grocery item that you would like to include in your list simply click on the checkbox to the left of the item name. Continue checking items until you have added everything you will need from the store. There is no limit on the number of items that may be checked and included in the list.

Click the checkbox to include the grocery item.

Navigating The Grocery Item Choices

Grocery items can be easily located by clicking on one of the categories in the menu. By clicking the different catagories you can quickly navigate the list of items. To navigate to the section that allows you to add your own items click on \'Other\'

Clicking the name of the grocery item category will help you quickly navigate the choices.

Adding Your Own Items

Adding your own items to the list is as easy as entering the item name into one of the blank text boxes. Text boxes for your added items can be found below each category of groceries. In the event that you would like to add a great many items to your shopping list click on the category entitled 'Other' where you will find a large collection of empty text boxes for your use.

There is no checkbox located next to the boxes for adding your own items because entering an item name into the blank box automatically ensures that your entry will be included in the list. Additionally, the coupon indicator works just as well for these items that you added yourself.

Using The Coupon Indicator

Setting reminders that you have a coupon for a particluar item on your grocery list can be a powerful tool to help you stay within your budget. Grocers List has built in a coupon indicator to do just that for the bargain conscious shopper. After a grocery item has been checked or your own item has been entered to be included with your shopping list the ¢ sign to the left of the item can be clicked with the mouse to change it from a greyed out state to a darkened state. This is the coupon indicator. Any item that has a darkened ¢ sign next to it will have a ¢ sign included on the generated grocery shopping list to remind the shopper of the bargain.

Click the ¢ to turn on the coupon indicator.  Items that you have a coupon for are indicated by the ¢.

Previewing Your Grocery List

Previewing your grocery list before printing the final copy is done by clicking on the 'List Preview' button. This button will format all of the selected grocery items into a three column grocery list.

Click 'List Preview' to see your grocery list.

Printing Your Grocery List

To Printer you grocery list click on 'Print Grocers List'. Your list will print out in a three column format will all of the grocery items that you have selected or added yourself.

Click 'Print Grocers List'.

Folding Your Grocery List

Once printed on an standard sheet of paper, the grocery list can be placed face down then folded into thirds by bringing each side one third of the way in and folding in a sharp crease. Folding the list in this manner allows for it to be read in a top down fashion while shopping and makes for more compact storage in a wallet or purse.
